Expert Oversight: Every Statement of Advice (SOA) is drafted with AI assistance but is meticulously reviewed, edited, and approved by a qualified Financial Adviser.

Calculation Integrity: We do not use Artificial Intelligence to perform financial calculations. All mathematical projections and tax modeling are performed using specialized, deterministic financial planning software to ensure 100% accuracy.

2. Tools We Use and Why

To provide you with a more present and efficient advice experience, we use:

Contented AI (Meeting Assistant): This tool transcribes our meetings so we can focus on our conversation rather than taking notes. It helps us ensure that every goal and concern you mention is captured accurately.

Gamma AI (Presentation & Drafting): This tool helps us structure complex information into clear, visual presentations. It allows us to communicate your strategy in a way that is easy to understand and act upon.

3. Data Sanitization: Our "Traffic Light" System

To ensure your most sensitive information never enters an AI environment, we apply a strict "Traffic Light" protocol to all data processing:

Never Uploaded. This data is strictly excluded from all AI tools and stored only in our secure CRM.

Identity Risk

Full names, specific employer names, exact salary figures.

Masked/Anonymized. We replace these with placeholders (e.g., "Client A") before any AI drafting occurs.

🟢 GREEN

Safe Context

Financial goals, risk profiles, asset classes, and general retirement timelines.

Processed Securely. Used to help draft your strategy and summarize our discussions.

4. Your Data, Your Privacy

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, we are committed to protecting your personal information:

Non-Training Protection: We use professional "Enterprise" versions of all AI tools. Your data is never used by these providers to "train" their public AI models. Your information remains within our secure, private digital environment.

NZ-Centric Compliance: We prioritize tools like Contented AI that are designed with the specific compliance needs of New Zealand professionals in mind.

5. Consent and Control

Verbal Consent: We will always ask for your permission before using an AI assistant in our meetings.

Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of AI-assisted processing at any time. If you opt-out, we will manage your file through traditional manual processes, and your Statement of Advice will be provided as a standard PDF.
