Two people discussing a financial decision

A CLEARER PICTURE

Is your KiwiSaver still right for you?

Most people know their KiwiSaver balance. Fewer know whether their fund, level of risk, fees and investment strategy are right for what they're working towards.

We look at your KiwiSaver in the context of your wider financial picture, so you can feel confident your strategy still makes sense.

01

Your goals

and when you'll need the money.

02

Your current fund

and investment strategy.

03

Fees and performance

in a meaningful context.

04

Your contributions

and overall financial plan.

START WITH YOUR QUESTION

What are you trying to figure out?

There's no single reason to review KiwiSaver. Choose what's closest to your situation and see what we'd look at together.

FUND SUITABILITY

It's worth understanding what you own.

We look at your timeframe, capacity for investment risk and what your current fund is invested in. The answer isn't always to switch. Sometimes it's understanding why your existing strategy still makes sense.

Talk through your current fund →

PROVIDER COMPARISON

The familiar option isn't automatically the best fit.

We'll assess the things that matter in context: investment approach, fees, diversification, service and any benefits you could lose by switching. A comparison should lead to a clear reason for staying or moving.

Discuss your options →

RETIREMENT TIMING

When you'll use the money changes the decision.

We'll consider your expected withdrawals, investment risk, access to cash and how KiwiSaver fits alongside other income and assets. Broader retirement income planning may need a separate engagement.

Review your retirement approach →

LIFE AND MONEY

Your strategy should keep up with your life.

A new job, self-employment, receiving money or buying a first home can change your priorities and contribution choices. We review KiwiSaver against the wider financial position, not in isolation.

Work through the changes →

TRANSPARENCY & CLARITY

Your KiwiSaver questions, answered.

Understanding how financial advice works should feel straightforward.

Is the first KiwiSaver meeting complimentary?

Yes. Your initial 30-minute meeting is complimentary. We'll discuss your circumstances, goals and current KiwiSaver arrangements, and explain our advice process before you decide whether to proceed.

How is FoundHer paid for KiwiSaver advice?

Depending on the advice and servicing arrangement, FoundHer may receive remuneration from KiwiSaver providers and/or ongoing advice fees from clients. We'll explain the applicable fees, remuneration and any relevant conflicts of interest before you agree to proceed.

Will I need to change KiwiSaver providers?

Not necessarily. Your existing provider and fund may already be suitable. Any recommendation to change will be based on your circumstances and the reasons for doing so.

What happens after the first meeting?

If you decide to proceed, we'll complete our research and prepare personalised recommendations in a Statement of Advice. We'll then meet to explain the advice, answer your questions and discuss implementation and ongoing servicing.

Can you help if I'm approaching retirement?

Yes. We can review your KiwiSaver investment strategy in light of your retirement timeframe, risk preferences and anticipated withdrawals. Broader retirement income planning may require a separate advice engagement.
